With the arrival of major championship week in golf comes the reveal of the highly anticipated TaylorMade staff bag. For the 2025 PGA Championship, the brand has once again delivered with its Queen City bag, celebrating the tournament’s host city of Charlotte, North Carolina.
The new bag features a striking color palette of dark blue, gold, and white, with thoughtful design details that reflect Charlotte’s rich sports heritage. The inside of the main pocket is lined with a checkered flag, paying homage to the region’s deep ties to stock car racing. The design also nods to Charlotte’s professional basketball scene, featuring elements related to the beloved Charlotte Hornets.
Additionally, the bag showcases quail feathers on its side, a tribute to Quail Hollow, the host course for the championship.
TaylorMade shared the inspiration behind the bag, emphasizing Charlotte’s vibrant culture and sports legacy. “The Queen City is known for its vibrant culture rooted in sport and tradition. This year’s staff bag brings Charlotte’s most recognizable qualities to life through its elegant design and construction employing only the finest materials,” said the company. “From stock car racing to professional basketball, and storied southern tradition, this year’s staff bag commemorates everything rich and iconic about the host venue and Charlotte, North Carolina.”
The bag’s design includes subtle touches like quail feathers, crowns, and TaylorMade logos. Its primary colors honor the tournament’s host organization, while the interior lining mirrors the checkered flag traditionally waved at the end of a race.
The Queen City bag is available for purchase, priced at £599. Golf fans can expect to see top players such as Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, and Collin Morikawa sporting the bag as they compete for the Wanamaker Trophy.
