At the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, Bentley Motors introduced its latest lineup of ultra-luxury vehicles, including the highly anticipated Bentley Flying Spur Ado, Continental GT Ado, and Continental GT Convertible Ado, all making their global debut. These models focus on the epitome of luxury, comfort, and exceptional driving experiences. The Bentayga Long Wheelbase Ado, the brand’s flagship ultra-luxury SUV, also made an appearance, showcasing exclusive customization options.
The unveiling of the new “Ado” series marks Bentley’s introduction of the High Performance Hybrid powertrain, which combines a 4.0-liter V8 engine with a robust electric motor to produce a maximum of 680 horsepower and 930 Nm of torque. The Bentayga Long Wheelbase Ado features a stunning Nīla Blue MULLINER custom exterior finish, complemented by a luxurious interior equipped with cutting-edge technology aimed at delivering unparalleled comfort.
Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser, Chairman and CEO of Bentley Motors, emphasized the significance of the models at the press conference, stating: “With the launch of the Ultimate Edition and the new Yadu Edition, Bentley now offers customers the ability to choose a vehicle that reflects their individual tastes and driving preferences. The new Yadu Edition models, which include the Continental GT Convertible, Continental GT, and Flying Spur, are designed to offer supreme comfort and refined luxury. The Continental GT Convertible Yadu Edition, showcased in a Breeze exterior color, features a new bright black matrix front grille with chrome accents and vertical waterfall elements, alongside striking 22-inch silver-painted Yadu wheels. The interior features 3D comfort-style diamond quilting, natural walnut veneer, and premium leather upholstery with contrasting stitching, offering a high level of customization. The model also includes wellness seating and a suite of comfort-oriented features such as heating, ventilation, and massage functions for the seats.
The Continental GT Yadu Edition, presented with Light Windsor Blue exterior paint, boasts a panoramic sunroof, while the Continental GT Convertible is fitted with a neck heater to enhance the open-air driving experience in cooler conditions. The Flying Spur Yadu Edition, also revealed at the show, shares the signature bright black grille design and chrome trim, complemented by the “Azure” logo and 22-inch Yadu wheels.
Bentley’s Yadu Edition vehicles emphasize comfort and mental well-being, with advanced driver assistance technologies to ensure a smooth and secure journey. The Flying Spur Yadu Edition includes health-conscious seating with heating, ventilation, and six massage modes, designed to reduce fatigue and promote relaxation during long drives. A standout feature of the Bentayga Long Wheelbase Yadu Edition is its new MULLINER-exclusive Nīla Blue exterior finish. The color, inspired by the Sanskrit word for “sapphire,” reflects Bentley’s commitment to craftsmanship and personalized expression, drawing inspiration from fashion designer Supriya Lele. This distinctive color symbolizes the seamless integration of luxury automobiles with high-end fashion, epitomizing Bentley’s innovative and bespoke approach to design.
With up to 24 billion possible interior combinations, Bentley offers customers the chance to personalize their vehicles to an unprecedented degree. The Yadu models showcase the finest quilting techniques, with silk threads used to create the softest patterns ever seen in the brand’s history.
