Two striking superyachts—Alejandra and Nympheas—were recently seen cruising off the coast of Zea, Greece, drawing attention from yachting enthusiasts and locals alike.
Leading the pair was the 41.33-metre sailing yacht Alejandra, a classic vessel built by Spanish shipyard Mefasa in 1993. Originally commissioned for King Juan Carlos of Spain, Alejandra is a testament to timeless maritime craftsmanship. Designed entirely by Bruce King Yacht Design, she features a dark blue hull, towering masts, and a richly appointed interior of handcrafted Cuban mahogany.
With a gross tonnage of 128 GT, this ketch-rigged yacht accommodates eight guests across four staterooms and houses five crew. Powered by a single MTU 12V183 TE62 diesel engine, Alejandra reaches a top speed of 14 knots and cruises comfortably at 12 knots.
Following closely behind was the 79-metre superyacht Nympheas, delivered in January 2025 by Turquoise Yachts. Showcasing state-of-the-art amenities, Nympheas features an expansive 8.5-metre swimming pool, a Neptune Lounge with underwater viewing ports, and a fully equipped gym, offering luxury and innovation at sea.
The presence of these vessels in Zea underscores the region’s continued appeal as a Mediterranean haven for yachting elites.
