Port Moresby is set to become the vibrant heart of Papua New Guinea’s fashion scene with the highly anticipated Port Moresby Fashion Week (POMFW) 2025. The event, a pivotal part of the wider PNG Fashion Week initiative, will take place from April 19th to 20th at Vision City Mega Mall, coinciding with the Easter weekend.
This year’s POMFW promises to offer an exciting mix of local creativity and luxury, with the mall’s daily foot traffic of 20,000 visitors providing designers with a unique platform for exposure. The event will feature a curated selection of high-end garments, accessories, and luxury items, showcasing the growing fashion industry in the nation.

Elizabeth Jerry: A rising star and runner-up at the Cosmopolitan Amateur Fashion Show, blending cultural significance with runway-ready designs.
Alova Manu: Winner of the Cosmopolitan Amateur Fashion Show, celebrated for minimalist silhouettes and intricate handcrafted details.
David Kila Pat: A visionary designer blending Papua New Guinea’s natural beauty with modern, innovative designs.
Shirley Nornan: Showcasing a fusion of traditional artistry and contemporary design, featuring cultural artifacts and accessories.
Hannah Beauty Box: Complementing the fashion showcase with salon and makeup products designed to elevate the fashion-forward atmosphere.
Additionally, Elizabeth Jerry, Alova Manu, and David Kila Pat will showcase their collections again at the GENESIS event at APEC Haus in September 2025.
