This innovation effectively transforms 4MSK, which is solid at room temperature, into a fluid that maintains its liquid state upon application, significantly improving its skin penetration.
The new formula is the result of Shiseido’s research into ionic liquids. By combining 4MSK with other substances, the company successfully developed a solution that keeps the ingredient in a liquid form, even when applied to the skin, doubling its ability to penetrate.
In a statement, Shiseido explained that the development of this new ingredient was driven by increasing consumer demand for highly effective skin brightening solutions.
